Unique project of representative quarters of Czech Embassy in Lithuanian Vilnius comes from Markéta Smrčková's atelier. New residence and administrative building introduces a complex of L Shape. Building with two and three floors is connected with ground floor.
The architecture is characterized by a very close connection between exterior, construction and interior. The whole building is composed of bearing combination of concrete, glass and timber. This fact meant for us the whole interior to be produced as inbuilt. Wall cladding, wardrobes and even free standing furniture are here in a very close relationship. This presumes a supply and installation in millimeters, which together wih distance, project complexity and supply chain friction create almost an unsolvable problem. The areas is divided with many sliding wooden and glass partitions, niches are faced with wall cladding, soffits, wall and floors create an integral piece. Our company managed to connect all these significant parts of interior to a whole impressive unit.
This project was a first of large individual realisations abroad and its demandingness was raised by a complicated political and economical situation fo the investor. Despite these problems our company managed to fulfil investor's and architectural submissions and has launched operations on foreign markets.
